深夜死刑重犯放越狱而逃，同时当晚摄影师寒冰在路上看见一个无家可归的小女孩小月，并收留了她。没想到接下来灵异事件不断发生，寒冰家中神秘蛇人出现，夜半小月出现在县医院太平间内，侦探包正和寒冰去查全城户口登记，发现根本没有叫小月的八岁女孩的资料，而在沈放妻子和女儿坟墓前，沈放死去的女儿竟然也叫小月……
Wearing a dowdy robe and slippers, an aging Ethel shuffles to the door to answer the knock of a young man who's there to see a sofa she's selling. As Ethel drones on and on about her wealthy son who's bought her a new sofa, the young man figures out that she's blind and looks around for things he might lift. He hears her talking about a new expensive suit her son has bought, sees it on a hanger, and proceeds to change into it as Ethel's monologue continues.
